OKC’s after-work crowd splits two ways: Midtown, the NW 10th-and-Walker grid of supper clubs, rooftop martinis, and taco rooms — or the Plaza District, the NW 16th Street strip of beer bars, sandwich counters, and late-night Final Hours. Same city, different night. Here is how their happy hours compare.
Midtown: the early grid
R&J Lounge and Supper Club (320-B NW 10th Street) posts the longest window in the directory: 2pm–6pm daily and all-day Monday, with Coors $2.50, well drinks $4.90, an old fashioned at $5.70, and apps from $6.25 soup of the day to $13.25 cheesy crab toast. O Bar (1200 N Walker Avenue, seven stories above the Ambassador Hotel) posts Happy Hour every day from 4–6pm, plus Martini Monday with $10 espresso martinis and classic dirty or dry martinis every Monday from 4pm–close. Barrios (1000 N Hudson Ave) posts Sunday–Thursday 2pm–6pm with a $5 de la casa margarita, $4 drafts, $4 off specialty drinks, and food specials from $6 to $7. Midtown starts early and prices everything.
Plaza District: the 16th Street crawl
The Plaza is looser and runs later. RADBAR (1715 NW 16th Street) posts Happy Hour 3p–7p daily with 1/2 off all appetizers and printed drafts including American Solera IPA $6.50, Dos Equis $3.25, and Coors Original $2.25, plus bottles and cans from $4. The Mule (1800 NW 16th Street) posts Happy Hour 3:00pm–6:00pm with $5 dad mugs of Coors, Yuengling, and Pacifico and $5 sangria. Bar Sen brings the late shift: Final Hour Friday–Saturday 11:00pm–midnight on the menu page, with no dollar amounts on that late list — a window-only row, so ask the bar for the night’s price.
